I absolutely agree and would love to own one. I am so disappointed that the wagons were not sold in Australia. There may be a personal import or two, but I've not heard of any.

As a load-lugger with style, very hard to beat...
Makes the Tardis look a bit pokey... Amazing what will go in one... I recall travelling in one to pick up a Xantia V6 engine and gearbox from Paul CitroenXM and it went in the back without even needing to fold down the rear seats!
And it rose back up to normal ride height as soon as it started up after sinking right down on its haunches due to the load...

Best estate I ever had was a 2.1TD Series 1 Xantia... Another Tardis!

Just had a thought, looking at the date of my own story there I must have been a mad 83 year old when I bought that.

One of the Classic FCF Threads in my opinion Gibbo, and well worth a follow through for the FCF class of 2024.Gibbo2286 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2024, 10:24 The story of my last estate car is told here: viewtopic.php?t=57880&hilit=On+my+walk
Classic Gibbo title, a seemingly futile and impossible resurrection, but seen through to a successful conclusion, with a bit of top class home mechanic-ing and years of experience in the trade to call on.
