Headunit replacement on C5 X7

This unit is the RD4 or RD45 system, made by Continental.
Usually standard equipment unless another system is specified as an option. There are Single & Dual Tuner versions. RD45 features over the RD4: The RD45 has USB connectivity & integrated Bluetooth module supporting Phone & Audio Streaming.

Headunit replacement on C5 X7

Hello ive been looking at getting a C5 X7 and as an hifi person id like to replace the headunit with something supporting android auto and bluetooth etc so i want to ask is this possible and if it is how should i go about it.

I can't provide any help on this personally, as I only support the original head units. You should be aware that RD4 models provide access to some vehicle configuration options, so it is highly possible that you may loose access to this if you do replace it with an aftermarket unit.

Your best bet is to consult the seller of any proposed unit to ensure you get the correct CAN interface and for fitting instructions.

Hey there.
Alright ill look in to that but i may just think about getting a dsp and amp for the door speakers and adjust the sound that way to keep the original head unit etc in place thanks for the help though
