The 508 passed everything bar the tyres so a visual inspection to get it passed.

Re: Injectors misbehaving but trying to understand the numbers
So the 508 is nctd as of this morning. I received the replacement master cylinder and started bleeding it last night. I was pulling the clip out for the pipe as per the procedure but was using a screwdriver which of course slipped and pierced my new radiator

. So I have to patch it now, just having a week of it. Picked up more brake fluid to finish bleeding in town so get something to eat and head back hopefully to finish fixing it later today.

Good news on the 508 Darren and I feel your pain with the bleeding screwdriver
Been there, done that. Don't feel bad - we all have

Re: Injectors misbehaving but trying to understand the numbers
Thanks Jim, I know it's just frustrating because Its a brand new radiator. well the clutch is sorted finally!!! and I patched the rad it's a tiny hole and I think my repair will hold once it sets, epoxy putty and ardalite over it. Any time I have used this combination in the past it worked well.
I just need to let it set pressure test it on the car with water and then run it for an hour or so and then drain and refill with coolant if all good and put the under tray on. Good clean and book her in hopefully at the weekend for the test.

Rather slowly at the moment! A large amount of insulated plasterboard needs to be ordered (measured up for number of boards, bit of umming and ahhhing about thicknesses then can get it ordered) also distracted by jobs in the garden and few car tasks too

Re: Injectors misbehaving but trying to understand the numbers
Thanks Jim,. It's important to make sure you are getting the board thickness right for your walls have you ran the calls for u and r values. The last thing you want is excessive heat transfer after investing so much time and money.you also want to make sure your joints and angles are as good as possible to prevent thermal bridging.there are several calculators online but for formulas , you can get them here: https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/.
If you are stuck on any of them let me know, I am energy engineer as well as all the other stuff I do.

This is the repair I done on the rad it should hold. It's a bit of overkill but I wanted to make sure it was as strong as possible.its the indented section to the left of the image.

Re: Injectors misbehaving but trying to understand the numbers
I will find out quick enough I suppose Jim.
I'm going to leave it until tomorrow to let it set as much as possible to reinstall it.
