Ok thanks will have a look later :)

Will update with the differential pressures shortly but all are low.

Just note down the sequence of menus:
Fault finding
Injection/ignition
Repair
Pack repair
After sales particular emission filter repair operation = no.
Replacement parts
Replacement of the particle emission filter

Warning: carry out this operation only after replacing the particle emission filter

Switch off the ignition
Switch on the ignition

Process done!

From the replacement parts menu also completed:
Filling of the diesel additive adding reservoir

Which part way through states:

Don't forget to do this in the additive ECU menu!

That will be what I did the weekend but didn't do this in the engine ECU menu!

From the multiplexed additive ECU menu

Repair
Pack repair
Replacement parts
Fill additive tank

Message States complete this procedure in the engine ECU menu, clicking the tick it thinks for good while then pops up with the error message. I'm not sure if it is attempting to move me across from additive ECU menu to engine ECU menu?? Stops it anyway.

From additive ECU, fault reading

Now States no faults found.

Back to engine ECU menu and the faults cleared.

Back to main menu and global test....

Quick drop of the print screens commentary to follow.

One fault remained on the radio ECU. Parameter measurement on the aerial page suggests something up there. Another day's job!

That's looking better Matt :) Looks, on the face of it, like the radio can have two aerials... Is the radio fully functional?

Be good to see how the DPF behaves now over a period of time...

I think it's one aerial/ external unit, but there's something like a signal amplifier involved - I remember reading something on the C5 stereo types and they have some with one connection, some with two. From memory it wasn't sat nav related, just radio. 308 SW could have built in sat nav, but despite being posh Allure spec, this doesn't have it.

Yes, I'll keep this updated with performance updates good or bad.

Will try to remember to get some more DPF differential pressure readings in a few months, also see what the "average time between regens" figure changes too (hopefully a lot nearer what your C3's data shows)

I'll seek "customer feedback" on the radio, as far as aware it works fine. Normally tuned to Classic FM, which is pretty feeble signal round here, I'll ask Sarah later if it's been notably worse in the 308 than other cars.

Quick bit of research, I've gone for this set:
Image
£10.59 Inc delivery, includes 200 staples (split over 4 types) plus also side cutters, craft knife and box to keep it all together.

1200 staples seems to be about £8, so if device proves itself, will probably get through 200 quickly and that's not too bad to get a lifetime supply!

Few hairline cracks on the Coupe bumper (which they are prone to) but will do more out of sight structural repairs - like yesterday's splash guard - till I have got a feel for it.
Staplers has arrived, and even better than that...
Spoiler: show
it's come with a free plastic welding/stapling job to practice on!
Hoping the tool is more robust!

Mine arrived a couple of days ago - you did better than me, Matt, as I don't even get an unbroken plastic box - I just get the carboard box it came in :bigcry: I can, however, say that it works rather well and as a bonus feature - the fuse is actually electrically wired in in the plug so it's less unsafe than a lot of the other imported tat available on ebay  I have downrated it to a 3 amp though

Mine arrived yesterday in the cardboard box but with a sculptured foam insert to hold the knife, cutters and staples. I haven't played with it yet but I'll report back later!! :)

They supplied the wrong cutters in mine, Mick. Mine are the ones designed to cut wet spaghetti so they've got no hope cutting the staples

I'd assumed they were supplied to cut the cable ties you use to hold it together while stapling, as long as you only use the excruciatingly thin ones that you can bite through if you need to!! :-D
