I did wonder if they designed the drain plug proud of the sump floor to provide an area to collect metal debris on the magnets without fear of it accumulating and blocking the drain.? Just a thought! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Two:
Well, one + one
Well, one + one
Plus three:
Three at £25 each
Three at £25 each
Should give a nice set of these multi spoke alloys (no more silly space saver, which the handbook suggests is coupled with a spacer (quite why I do not know, still to properly venture underneath)

I am waiting for the seller of the set of three to wake up and organise collection from him/her, where as the other two are to roll up by Thursday as far as the tracking tells me.

Timely as the front left is down to 1.1 bar again (pumped up on Saturday), and much though pumping it up with the cycle track pump kept me warm this evening, I don't fancy that ever couple of days! Phew! :-D

Coolant, gearbox oil and undertray all expected by end of the week too

Smart aren't they. Have to say much prefer them to the 17" diamond turned things (even if presentable) and am hoping another half inch of squashy sidewall helps ride comfort a touch too (it's not terrible as is, but every little helps!)

Am pleased to report the cheap three wheels seller has got back to me at last!

Sequence of events as follows, just for info:
Put up a "best offer" of £20 per wheel X3 on Sunday morning.
No response at all and offer elapsed Monday morning. Most sellers will respond either decline or counter offer if they think I've been a bit stingy. Amazingly I have had a few instances of complete radio silence like this and do wonder why they have even ticked the box to consider offers at times! I don't put stupidly low offers in, and normally try and explain why I think lower price is fair (e.g. offer on a couple of items as could combine postage etc)
Anyway, seems I wasn't ignored deliberately as a cheapskate!

The offer elapsed, so decided just to hit buy it now (as three wheels for £75 is still good price) so did so yesterday lunchtime.

(Next bit slightly off topic and not suitable for what apparently is categorised a medium swear word, hence the spoiler!)
Spoiler: show
so, two messages came through last night as follows:
EBay chat
EBay chat
So they need to get back to me and confirm they've not chucked the wheels away!

But hidden this bit due to use of a word I commonly utter (but as yet have managed to keep myself from doing so in earshot of my boys!

For your enjoyment, Suzi Dent has an interesting and amusing piece on it

Tickles me, anyway! :rofl2:

Had similar with a coolant radiator 3 yr ago , did the offer, nothing went to hit buy it now 48 hrs later but heres the turn in the event i got a message from the seller , he was away or had been away, i thought you needed to notify buyers you were away so the buyer knows there is a delay, any way the seller offered me the chance to purchase the radiator for my offer price i sent so i did, 2 days later it arrived , wonderful .. till i filled it up only to find it leaked worse that the one i was replacing, so i sent the seller a message which i was replied to more of less right away , he knew why i was messaging , agreed to a refund & said keep the rad & bin it ! Make sure these wheels haven't been in any type of road accidents matt,

"Away" - I looked into this a while ago, you can put status as "the seller is away, there may be a delay despatching your items" ONLY if you are registered as a business seller. As just a standard eBay user the only option is to end the items then relist when you get back (and pay eBay another listing fee! Not daft are they!)

Yes will give the wheels a good look over, fingers crossed all is well.

The toilet one is pretty good (bar some corrosion on the back surfaces)

The other, which promised to be something from Fenton Audio, has a few kerbing marks, might have a quick go at repainting these before tyres put on. But for the prices paid I'm happy
