Unless the welding job is ridiculous, then should be able to overcome this hurdle:)c16rkc wrote: 06 Dec 2023, 09:57 Really sorry to hear about the coupe...![]()

Yes, I thought so too!myglaren wrote: 06 Dec 2023, 20:34 That seems very reasonable. I just paid £28 for 5L. The last calipers I bought were £80 each.
Yes I'm hopeful they'll be fine. Sliders will be taken apart and greased, bleed nipples etc confirmed good etc on arrival. It is a straight forward, single piston caliper (handbrake is a separate mechanical drum brake in a drum-in-disk arrangement) so about as simple as can be.c16rkc wrote: 07 Dec 2023, 11:58 Hopefully they will be OK, at least they are not as important as the front calipers.

Not sure why last one comes up as £15.37 when actually cost £18.44
That's how it was on my erstwhile Saxo Matt.. One small bubble hid absolute mayhem...MattBLancs wrote: 09 Dec 2023, 15:38
Surprising how bad it is as I did not spot anything pre MOT, didn't look anything like as bad before I had a dig! Oh well.![]()
Yes, it snowballing it's a massive task is what I was most concerned about! Fingers crossed it doesn't pan out like that when I dig further into it.
