I've re-shuffled the above (and send it out by two boxes!) to broadly be in "per car" boxes. When I finally get the C5 sold the new owner is going to be in for a windfall of accumulated stuff to go with it! Ah well!

You might spot this galvanized sheet is not actually fitted into the trailer, that's the job I was intending to get on with this afternoon= replacing the tongue and groove floorboards with 0.9 mil galv sheet.
A bargain off Facebook marketplace, £34. Discovered it's a fantastic salvage yard selling everything up to and including ex army trucks!
10 minutes away from home.

Hard to convey clearly on a picture quite how green, slimy and dubious looking in terms of strength, the timber has become!

Excellent! That galvanised sheet has done a great job Matt :-D The old wood looks to have developed its own ecosystem!

It has been out in all weathers year round since April 2021, with only a quick fence treatment to protect it.

It is actually still strong, but I don't want to ignore it untill I have a failure.

It's also like an ice rink when wet! Lethal!!

I used to have an 8 x 4 trailer whose bed had a similar slippery surface. I laid rubber tiles recovered from an old school gym in mine and they worked a treat. No strength in them of course but very grippy in all conditions. The actual bed was made of hardwood planking and was still as good as new when I sold the trailer after 16 years of abuse!! :-D

Yes, I am wondering how slippery the galv will be too, so might do similar.

I hadn't realised quite how slippery the wood was, nearly went flying when last stood in it! :)

Inspired by Mick's recent purchase: viewtopic.php?p=828266#p828266 , I've followed suit!
Funnel kit
Funnel kit
Will use this for the Blue 308 coolant change. As previously mentioned it's very murky grim stuff in the expansion tank at present. So a drain, flush and new coolant is on the cards.

Definitely a good buy Matt, I am exceedingly happy with the kit and now have a queue of 5 awaiting bleeding following me stupidly telling SWMBO about it!! :-D
