Used to like it but drank too much of it once and can no longer stomach it. Drink the juice variety though very refreshing 😁

I grew up with Woodpecker, graduated to Strongbow and then moved on to beer. More recently my summer tipple has been Thatcher's wiith the occasional foray into 'local' varieties. :-D

I was always a Guinness man but I like a Corona in the summer.

I'm a Guinness man now, both proper draught and 0% to suit the occasion but the odd summer cider doesn't go amiss. I also like a glass of decent real ale but never touch lager!! :-D

Try Black Velvet. 50/50 cider and Guinnless.

Used to consume that in large quantities in my teens. Couldn't cope with it now, don't like Guinness and cider is too sweet, BV is very 'bloody'.

Ahh! So that was what a Black Velvet was!

Allegedly supposed to be Guinness and champagne but what 14 year old is going to shell out for that.

Not Black Velvet, more (chassis black last night then) black gungy Tetroseal this morning, again in between the showers. Wheel arch and rear suspension (just this side) both now coated.

Wheel arch liner reinstated (after a crack repaired with the hot staples) now with number plate penny washers, standard M6 nuts and bolts, liberally copper greased!
Hopefully less of a fight if/when it next has to come off

Whilst the underseal dried, I did an interior mod, or addition. This cheap mirror has never really successfully "clipped on" to anything.
IMG_20240826_111545160_AE.jpg
So, sliced off the silly clip and added a bit of roughness for glue to key to.
IMG_20240826_112356309_AE.jpg
Now a hot glue gun blob has stuck it to the windscreen, above the standard interior mirror.

My Picasso comes with one of those as standard... Rather neat as you can fold it away when not needed :)

Whilst Autumn is rear-facing in her car seat, Robyn has a large convex mirror attached to the headrest to keep an eye on her...
