You'll probably find it works better if you put it on Jim!! :-D

   Good thinking Mick ;) I must admit I was a bit late to do it today... Me standing on a roundabout in full early morning sun and my SPF 50 in Bluebell a distance away was never going to be very effective. By the time I was reunited with both Bluebell and the suncream I tried to make up for lost time but it was too late :(

Expect to see my forehead glowing like a traffic light on red on Wednesday

You can get hold of some after sun cream. It does work well.

Thanks James, I shall invest in some... I trust it'll work better than Tesco nappy rash cream? That's my go-to cream for lots of purposes these days, not least a touch of over-exposure to the sun...

I have some Nivea After Sun Moisture cream. I made the mistake of driving in shorts on a hot sunny day. My legs ended up looking like overcooked plain pizza! The after sun cream did help a lot.

Oh ouch! Reminds me of sixties cars with proper vinyl seats, Bakelite steering wheels and seatbelt buckles that got so hot they could brand you!

Sitting on a vinyl seat and gripping the wheel after getting in a car that had stood in the sun all day was something you did with great care after being caught a few times...

There's a clock needing me to fix it ;)

Truth is, I'd absolutely love to... Not sure I have the skills for a big one like that...
I met the Vicar who has only been there for a year during which time the clock has never functioned. He is going to let me know if he would like it investigated after consulting his church wardens. :-D

Well already on that excursion I can pull out some decent "S" posts without really trying Purple "Seats" if all else fails and St James Goffs Oak at the very least.

Was it a conversation with the vicar with a few more details than revealed... Did the vicar realise that his red face clock was a bit of a rarity :?: and of some celebrity in FCF circles :?:

Indeed it was, he has no idea about the clock at all and hence no realisation of its rarity. I told him about our quest and that we may even be able to get it going for him if that is a viable project. However he needs to discuss it with the church council because as far as he knows there may not even be a mechanism behind the face!! So there is an outside chance that Jim may get his wish to at least have a look at it! (I hope that's OK with you Jim?) :-D
