Oops that's me a little behind now...

I thought the Dotterel was familiar.

To cut a long story short AA Box 121 which is now outside the AA HQ in Basingstoke was formerly sited at or near "The Dotterel in North Yorkshire and was labelled Dotterel.

and in that thread a lovely picture of the interior of the Dotterel at the time, a contender for the pub with the best fish tank!

This pub was the 'on location' site for filming of part of 'Battle of Britain'. The famous air battle was actually fought in the skies over this place!

Mick, yours is a bit less contrived, but i was doing this...


I is a bit difficult but did discover this. This was taken from a third floor window on the IBIS Hotel North Hykeham Lincoln. A hotel which has hosted the Falcons on tour.

This one is in the Chapel House Estate West Denton Newcastle near the Junction of the A69 west to Hexham/Carlisle with The A1 Western bypass. In the vicinity of a couple of Instavolt Chargers.
