Re: Pub Gallery and the odd hotel!
In an equivalent Hertfordshire hostelry I'd expect £17.50 for that duo snack and 2 pints!! ![Big Grin :-D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Pub Gallery and the odd hotel!
The Birmingham Mail tells us this...
Regards Neilhttps://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats- ... w-25422256
"The price of a bratwurst and beer at the Frankfurt Christmas Market has risen by almost 20 per cent for 2022. One stall at the bottom end of the market, towards the Bullring, has priced bratwursts at £6, with beer priced at £6.50 a pint.
In 2021, the same beer and sausage combo would have set you back £10.50."

Re: Pub Gallery and the odd hotel!
Well, it is a half metre Bratwurst so that works out at £8.00 ( I had one and three quarters ). A half pint for LOML was £4.50. Pint for me - £6.50. Deposit for each glass - £5.00. Grand Total - £29.00.
This was the first Bratwurst. Another £8.00. Then there were the Pretzels!
Look carefully and you will see Mustard only on my end - LOML doesn't like Mustard

Re: Pub Gallery and the odd hotel!
Go on, another A-Z of pubs.
Birds cover most of the A-Z with maybe just a couple of more difficult letters, so that's pretty easy with Pubsgalore search and a bit of geograph images of where they exist.
Dogs there are going to be a few more difficult letters and the UK is a bit sparse after The Greyhound and I would be very surprised if "The Rottweiler" makes an appearance.
Horses are of course celebrated in their Names and Breeds, including the delightful Beeswing and Dr Syntax but again likely for some gaps in an A-Z.
So for amusement I have selected Birds. Starter for ten..
Avocet...Originally The Railway, and many name changes, but now the Avocet, this Victorian station hotel is immediately adjacent to Parkstone Station. (Poole)
A is for Avocet
