As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

Because one is wonderful and two are terrific ;)

I am not really sure where this should go, so if someone wants to re-post it in a more appropriate thread, feel free.

This commemorative Video was put out last summer by the local railway preservation society and is worth a good look in my opinion. It is one of the smallest railways in the UK but not lacking in enthusiasm or vision.

I have been there a few times over the years and it has only gone from strength to strength. The Lochty site is virtually undetectable and you would never know it once homed this railway collection. I never knew they used the Methil Power Station site until I saw this video.

I have taken you at your word there Dave and posted it onto the PE Video thread which is there to mop up all videos of possible interest to somebody! :-D

I mentioned the StrathPuffer a wee while ago. Here is some more interesting history, this time, Women's Cyclo Cross.

Find out what beer tents, fax machines, letters and "only" winter training have in common.

Well the "6 Nations" is well underway now. Hope it continues to be so enthralling. One Irish lass in a sea of Red giving it laldy - I couldn't see that happening at some Football matches.

Sad statistic for me is that LOML has been to more 6 Nations games than me. She has been to every game I have been to as well as 3 Girls Days Out to Murrayfield. Drats!

Now, I have said it before, I find Casey Ladelle interesting - hence the Avatar.
Here is Casey being Casey

Yes, he is a Yank. Yes, he milks the audience but I enjoy the insights into his personal life and his views on things in general. Yes he makes money on YouTube, but he uses it differently to most.

PS I like Marty t as well.

My PE juke box foray has set me off.

The first song in this ColdPlay album also crops up here

Not surprisingly, they are both in my Music Collection

To look at me now you wouldn't think that my cousin Alex and I sang Folk Songs at weddings and the like, or that i roadied for Alex and his proper singing partner Sandra to the Folk Clubs in Glasgow using my Austin Metropolitan to carry us, guitars and everything. Or carried my twin deck disco gear and records in a Mercedes 220 Pontoon. Don't worry, you are not alone.

LOML loves Rod Stewart to the point I would be kicked out of bed in favour of him even today, so it should not come as a surprise I have been to more than one of his concerts.

My grandkids just give that total incredulous look at the merest thought that I could ever have been that young and out there.

Just quite what they are going to make of me taking their mum to Ballet performances is yet to come. Bring it on.

They do a lot of nice stuff, or did. Disbanded and replaced now and nowhere near as good.

Such is life.

Anybody into Outlander?

Saw these guys at the Edinburgh Fringe 15 years ago. In fact, there is a fair to middling chance I am in the crowd in this video.

Watching the Rugby. Heart is with Italy but too many rookie errors and not slick enough against a cohesive French squad. Plucky though, and definitely trying. At least the refereeing is spot on today.

Sent this map to one of my daughters. She, and my eldest granddaughter both live close to the area that is likely to drown.

Which triggered the thought of "The waters are rising" and reminded me of:
Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks (The National)

Not safe to relax, clearly.
