2018 DS3 Mirrorlink

I have 2018 DS3 and I'm unable to connect my Samsung S22 to the mirrorlink in the setting. Anyone know why

Mirrorlink is no longer supported by later Samsung devices / operating software.

The replacement is Android Auto, which your DS3 should support instead. There is an Android Auto App you will need to download to your phone first. The Head Unit should recognise the phone when connected. Pop your VIN up and I'll check which system you have (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).

That'll be it.... It's also on the front lower outside corner of the passenger side windscreen in a cut out.

Ok, so you had the '5' written down as an 'S', which is why it was incorrect.

Your vehicle was actually built on 24th August 2017 and the warranty commenced from 31st May 2018, so is a late registered 2017 model. Therefore the Telematics system you have installed is the older SMEG Touchscreen and not the later Connected NAC unit.

These are different systems and the updates are a bit more convoluted. Being a later version of the DS3, this will be a DS-Badged DS3, as opposed to a Citroen-badged model.

I think you may have to check with your dealer to see whether there is a software update needed for Android Auto Functionality, but it's as I said previously, once you phone gets updated, you will lose Mirror Link functionality as it's no longer supported by Samsung and many other manufacturers, in favour of the later Android Auto software.

So first try and download the Android Auto App and follow the instructions to try and connect it. If it fails to connect, you may need to go to the DS dealer and check if there is a system update to enable Android Auto.
