The 2022 Chevrons Rally

Post by CitroJim »

A truly great Chevrons this year... Maybe not so many cars as last year but the quality was above reproach :-D

And so was the organisation and the food but above all, the people there were simply wonderful...

I absolutely loved it... A fantastic weekend :-D

Shame I missed it again.
The distance is getting to be a bit much, mostly as I rarely drive anywhere much now. Whitby a couple of weeks ago the farthest this year.

Same with me Steve, I go through times when driving any distance is just not on for me and then at other times I can... Got a long drive this week down to Somerset to get cracking on Bluebell and then from there to near Southampton ready for a New Forest bike sportive.. I'm breaking the journey in a Travelodge on Friday as the bike ride starts very early... Then straight home and up to Warwickshire to man an ultramarathon feed station and check point...

Yesterday I ran further in the morning than I drove to the rally  I could have run there...

A well organised rally as usual. Nice to meet up with familiar faces and cars.

On the Sunday I counted eleven XM’s, it’s a while since I saw that many gathered together.
