One lunchtime during the Birthday Cruise was spent at this delightful pub:

while there we were lucky enough to see the boat which moves around the Broads all the time but I have not seen it that often:

which just leaves the question: Where were we? :-D

Not having found a pic in a brief paddle, it looks like a model, so the most likely place would be Merrivale Model Village in Great Yarmouth at a guess.

This is Norfolk, although I didn't do the simple thing of writing a description on the back of the photograph.

So this is P1040901 taken at 20.42 on 13th June 2017 somewhere within evening short driving distance of Wells-next-the-Sea. Shingle beach too.....Wells-next-the-sea beach is a long long stretch of sand. Looks like it was on the coast up from Cley-next-the-Sea.

For entertainment of a more natural nature, Norwich Cathedral is still the place. You may have to turn the volume down for the first bit, or find a quieter vid. :-D

Last orders for Norfolk, the sun is setting on its Day-ish in the Spotlight.

Norfolk is home to one of the leading Auction Houses in the Country for Classic Car Sales. Back in 2017 at the end of our Norfolk Holiday combined it with a visit to ACA at Kings Lynn, hoping to be successful at somewhere around the asking price for this Renault Caravelle. Went too high and it wasn't to be.

______________Norfolk Done!_____17 done 75 to go_

and the next one please. There are 92 historic counties in England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland, each will have a mere day-ish in the spotlight selected at random.

best to keep the thread flowing! :-D

So if anyone would like to run the random number generator to select the next county please do. If it hits a number already used run it again. Our numbers selected so far have been

3,5,22,24,28,51,59,61,65,66,69,70,78,81,84,86,89.

Random Number Selection is 8

New County is Banffshire
