I see where you are pointing me, but the issue I am experiencing might be a little different. In the thread that you have sent the prolem appears for closing the door, while I cant get it to fully open. it opens ever so slightly, 10 cm from closed position not more and stops.

It really needs a proper diagnostic with Diagbox. Provide the codes and I may be able to assist you. I suspect that it's something your garage has done after you had the recent work done - maybe they force opened or closed it causing some damage. At this stage anything will be guesses without a fault code.

The electronic struts don't last forever and may need replacing - but again before replacing parts it needs a proper diagnostic.
