I am assuming the first digit for the above part number for the steering rack is 9 instead of 1? Can you please confirm if the above number is also equivalent to 4001 63 or 4001EA.

1) The part number is correct as listed (1610577580). This is the latest replacement part.
2) The old part was 400163 now replaced with the above not 4001EA which is not compatible with your vehicle (that's why we use official Citroen parts data from your vehicle VIN).
