Re: Citroen and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests

Hi Admin,

My first post, so apologies for any faux pas.
I need the part number for this thingy (in line filter perhaps?) Not sure what to call it. But it's located in the LDS line, above and aft of the fuel tank. It seems to encase the union of the LDS line (which presumably runs from the BHI in the engine bay) with the LDS line that takes the fluid to the rear struts. It's weeping and needs replacing.

Thank you

VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Please see very short video and pics below to help you identify this part:

Hi Marc,

Much appreciated. This looks to be the "thingy" that I'm after. I thought it looked like a union of some sort.
Would I be right in thinking that the pipes simply push fit into this, one at each end? No special tools needed?
From the diagram it looks like the pipe ends are fluted and have "O" rings on them.

Just thinking out loud here; the union is weeping, ergo the seals have perished. So, whatever the fitting method (push fit or threaded) I will require new seals for the pipe ends. Is there a part number for these?

Or as the only purpose of part 5280R3 is joining the two pipes, perhaps I could simply square off the ends and connect using high tensile, chemical resistant flexible tubing and secure with hose clips.

Ok, so the hose is shown on the brake Servo diagram below:
DS3 servo pipe.PNG
The Brake Vacuum Hose is item (6), part 4578N4, £35.59

However, the connector is not sold separately and is attached to the pump:

The pump (1) is part: 9804021880, £166.73

All prices VAT inclusive direct from Citroen.

Thanks Marc for the swift response.
Sorry for the rookie question here, but am I right in thinking a salvaged box with the gearbox code 20CP80 would fit and will have the correct ratios?
