@ Husky: Please can you be specific in what exact items you require parts for as everyone has a different idea of a service  I.e:

Oil Filter
Air Filter
Cabin Air / Pollen Filter
Fuel Filter etc.....

Would 10w40 be ok for the 307 , its a 2.0hdi, only the seller said he used magnatec 10w40, when i checked the part service history of the car it was 5w30.. confused now !
To be honest ive always used 10w40 in the 2.0hdi they always ran good with it . But...
Im usings 5w30 for the 206cc which seems to run fine.

Note

There were 2 possibilities for the Air Puller Fan that could of been used: Either a Magneti Marelli system or a BEHR France system. Each have different Pollen filters. I can't advise as to which system you have fitted, so it may be worthwhile pulling out the old one to determine the original markings / identification first. I have provided both types here:

Option 1 Magneti Marelli System

As for Oil, any of the following are specified for this engine (DW10TD)

5W30 Oil B71 2290
5W40 Oil B71 2296
10W40 Oil B71 2300

Which one you use will depend on the protection you want.

Look at this guide here, bearing in mind the UK is a temperate country.

The first diagram shows the protection for the various grades - so pick one of the 3 grades I specified above and check out the protection for each, then you can decide:

Important to note that oil for a DPF equipped early 1.6 HDI should be C2 spec (later blue HDi need C1 spec)

PSA use the same type for the vehicles now except for collaborative vehicles listed below:
  • (C1 (B1) / 108 (B1) - (1.2 -litre petrol engine)
  • C-CROSSER (I4) / 4007 (I3) - (2,2 litre HDI engine)
  • C4 AIRCROSS (J4) / 4008 (J3) - (Petrol and diesel engines)
  • C-ZERO (S4) / IOn (S3)
  • E-Méhari
  • PEUGEOT PICK UP (KP0)
  • Commercial vehicles
Either the Freecor DSCAntifreeze available in 1, 20 or 210 Litre containers.
or
Freecor DSCFluid (ready for use) available in 2, 5, 10 or 20 Litre containers.

Regardless of country, apart from France for which there some unknown differences as the name is the same but the product numbers are different.

My 407 has just passed it's CT with a couple of advisories, Fr RH track rod end and Rr LH drop arm. Also during my latest trip to the UK the heat shield has fallen onto the back box. The welded studs are still present but not the fasteners. Could you look up the OEM part nos. please Marc for the 3 items?
I could use a standard metal clip but it would be a bugger to remove so was wondering if in fact they are plastic?
Cheers
Pete
Notice the BX is still top the list but sadly gone
