Mick, that VIN is incorrect (18, when it should be 17) and also, can you confirm you want the pulley for the accessory belt?mickthemaverick wrote: ↑15 Mar 2022, 13:54 Hi Marc,

Re: Citroen and Peugeot Official Parts Requests
Sorry Marc, I copied the vin from the screen in bright sun straight onto the phone and possibly had big finger slip! I got the model wrong, it is a 206 not a 406 - post covid brain fade -. Hopefully that explains the VIN issue? Yes it is the crankshaft rubber mounted pulley at the bottom of the accessory belt run. Re: Citroen and Peugeot Official Parts Requests
That's not helping Mick - the VIN you edited in the previous page is still incorrect. Also, please note that you can't quote an obfuscated VIN in a new post as the VIN has already been converted to asterisks, so I can't read it. Please always retype the VIN in full. Once I have this I will save it for future requests for you.mickthemaverick wrote: ↑16 Mar 2022, 03:01 Sorry Marc, I copied the vin from the screen in bright sun straight onto the phone and possibly had big finger slip! Re: Citroen and Peugeot Official Parts Requests
Still a no go, if I use the last 8 digits it comes up as a 206 3 DOOR SALOON 1.1 i (TU1JP) Manual gearbox 5. The beginning of the VIN is totally different, V_F_3_2_C_H_F_X_Fmickthemaverick wrote: ↑16 Mar 2022, 17:23 Is this ok for 206 HDi

Re: Citroen and Peugeot Official Parts Requests
Thanks for your time on this, there is clearly a problem with the car's ID, so I have told the owner to source the new pulley from their dealer and then I'll go and refit it if necessary!! Thanks again
