Hi I am wondering if someone could help me find the correct part for my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso mk1

The vin is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

And the orp number is 11254fv

I need to replace the ABS module but it seems there are many options. My mechanic has said that the one on my car looks like it’s a replacement and the part numbers have been scatched off. The car is left hand drive if that makes any difference. I don’t mind if it is the original part number and not the ones being used on eBay etc I just need to find out what the correct one is for my car. I have the Christmas tree lights on it. Abs esp/asr fault etc. I don’t even know if the car has ASR and this is what is confusing me as it comes up with that message that says esp/asr fault etc. but any help would be really appreciated.

We only need the VIN, we can get everything from that.

Here you are:

(1) ABS / ESP Hydraulic Block, part: 4541QE, £1,798.98

Note this is supplied unconfigured from the dealer, so will need configuring with Diagbox, especially if you are considering a used one, as that will be already be programmed for the vehicle from which it came from. You will also have to ensure that the steering wheel angle sensor is calibrated after replacement.

Are you referring to the low pressure steering pipe? If so,

(3) Steering Low Pressure Pipe, part: 4012A9, but no longer available from Citroen.

Thanks for the info. But I mean the one in the middle of the circle that I drew. It looks like a nipple or something. I don't have it. It looks like it's protecting the gearbox control unit from the air filter box. It is located exactly on the gearbox control unit.

It's not shown as a part - only the seal! This bolt is part of the actual gearbox and holds the ECU in place.

It came up with a site that asked for my vin number. And it has brought up a load of options. Looking at the date of when mine was built using the OPR. Mine fits a few options. But they say replaced by what you suggest. Does this mean the part is a replacement for my original part or they were superseded. Becuase the OPR is from after when my car was built. I sadly the one in my car has had the details scratched off so working in the dark. If I get the 4541 qe will that still work or should I try to find the older version. I don’t want to get the wrong thing for my mechanic. Sorry if I am going on. I have had a nightmare with this car and just need it working once and for all.
