Thank you Richard.
Agree, looks like you've picked the right bits and ouch at some of the prices (definitely not a 'while you're in there' situation... I need to confirm specifically which ones!)

Good morning Richard, Marc

Its time for me to solve my leaking camshaft housing of my 2015 1.6 blue hdi 120 because the oil leak gets worse.

could you give me the part numbers i need for the job as in:

camshaft oil seal, camshaft cover and packing , bolts to reassemble the camshaft housing , bolt for camshaft timing pulley , camshaft cover seal. ? and please the rubbers that suspend the airfilter housing front and back.

think that should cover the job, and any advice on the sealant to use for the camshaft housing ?

Any other parts i should take in consideration to replace from your experience ?

Thanks,

Bart

Before you dive in to the job, are you sure it's the camshaft seal leaking? I've just had the job done on our 308 (same spec as yours) and it was only the cam cover tat was leaking. If the cam oil seal is leaking then the oil will be going down the back of the timing belt. The cam cover leak results in oil pooling around the fuel injectors.

Apologies for the off-topic post but I felt it was important.

Hi paul,

I have oil pooling aroud the injectors yes, its hard to say if it is the sealant from the cam sandwich or the camcover seal leaking.

just going to order all the parts in case it's the sealant packing leaking. but if i have to split the cam housing going to replace the oil seal as well.

going to be a combiantion job with my distribution belt as it's on for 10years now @ 170000 km.

Hi Jay, from the looks of it, there is no separate Heater Control Blower Motor listed, so is likely combined with the Air Blower itself as you can see - like the ones on the Xsara Picasso and some other vehicles of this year:

The whole unit (1) is no longer available from Peugeot, but was part: 6441S3

Your VIN is (18) too long, should be 17 - please correct.

Hi Marc,

I'm not sure how this part is called. I'm looking for the strip which "seals" the window to prevent water from entering the door. Left and right rear doors.

Hi ,

I am also looking for the parts number of the bolts to put the camshaft sandwich together ? the 8 bolts that tighten the shaft between the housing.

Cheers,
