Thanks - I wasn't sure if the extra strength (and less stretch) meant that it needed the extra torque to hold. If not, I'll just get the 12.9 spec ones and be done with it!

I understand it is designed to do this to clear the weatherseal at the top when opening/closing the door but the sensor in the handle seems to do it randomly while I'm driving along. I am guessing that other models of 307 don't have this sensor in the handle so just buying another handle won't cure the problem. Anyone know what the part number might be for the sensor? VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

"The Door Handle (part) that contains the sensor is the same for both sides." according to GiveMeABreak.
The door handles are part no 9101X2, and the diagram shows them with connectors on:

They are £216.59 each - plus painting!

Other variants of the 307 show handles without connectors. They seem to be 307 only, so 2nd hand ones might be scarce.
Thanks for that.

That is and option to consider. Thanks.

Citroen don't supply them separately, but there are likely to be aftermarket options.

VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

I would like to know the part number for a new fuel filter and where exactly it is in the vehicle.

Thanks!
It's hidden under a cover, front RH side (LH as you look at it) of the engine:

Filter element part no 9801366680 £51.49 / cheaper part for older cars 1643624980 £17.33. Quality filters will be available much cheaper than this aftermarket!!

It just says Battery L3 800 which is not that helpful, but does quote part number of 5600 TC (superseeded by 1638948680)
