Thanks - I wasn't sure if the extra strength (and less stretch) meant that it needed the extra torque to hold. If not, I'll just get the 12.9 spec ones and be done with it!

Thanks for that.RichardW wrote: 02 Jan 2025, 20:37The door handles are part no 9101X2, and the diagram shows them with connectors on:Expertamateur wrote: 02 Jan 2025, 16:32 307cc door handle problem. The driver's side door handle keeps triggering the electric window to go up and down about half an inch. I understand it is designed to do this to clear the weatherseal at the top when opening/closing the door but the sensor in the handle seems to do it randomly while I'm driving along. I am guessing that other models of 307 don't have this sensor in the handle so just buying another handle won't cure the problem. Anyone know what the part number might be for the sensor? "The Door Handle (part) that contains the sensor is the same for both sides." according to GiveMeABreak.
They are £216.59 each - plus painting!
Other variants of the 307 show handles without connectors. They seem to be 307 only, so 2nd hand ones might be scarce.

That is and option to consider. Thanks.Paul-R wrote: 02 Jan 2025, 20:47 If the door handles are not handed, and you seldom use the passenger door, could you possibly swap them over with the faulty sensor disconnected?

Citroen don't supply them separately, but there are likely to be aftermarket options.

It's hidden under a cover, front RH side (LH as you look at it) of the engine:GORAX wrote: 03 Jan 2025, 11:26 Hi,

I would like to know the part number for a new fuel filter and where exactly it is in the vehicle.
Thanks!
Filter element part no 9801366680 £51.49 / cheaper part for older cars 1643624980 £17.33. Quality filters will be available much cheaper than this aftermarket!!

It just says Battery L3 800 which is not that helpful, but does quote part number of 5600 TC (superseeded by 1638948680)kevmax1uk wrote: 04 Jan 2025, 18:03 Hi, Please can I have the correct battery details for my car I think GSF tried to sell me the wrong one which is 70Ah CCA 650 and not sure if mine should be a start stop even though it’s hybrid.
