Could I please have the following?

Many thanks, Marc. It is on 62500 miles and is coming up to its 11th anniversary. I should have done the timing belt when she got it in Feb but times has run away with me.

Interesting how the servicing schedule mentions diesel particulate additive as, as far as I am aware, it doesn't have any such system. It's not got AdBlue but that may be different to a diesel particulate additive?

Will do cooling system drain and refill as part of the timing belt + pump. She wants to keep on top of it.

Yes, it has a DPF and Eolys additive reservoir system. It needs little attention and will generally warn you when it needs a top up - but they tend to check in service at the appropriate intervals, which often requires the tank physically emptying to measure the quantity.

Without wanting to go off-topic and very briefly:
Adblue is the additive for the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system to treat NOx in the Cat.
Eolys Additive is for assisted regeneration for the DPF which treats particulate matter.

Different systems to do different jobs, most Diesels post 2016 have both systems. Yours only has the DPF, not the SCR system.

thanks Marc. I did know it had a DPF because I scanned the soot level but I didn’t realise EOLYS is part of that system. All new tech for me.

Can you post image of where the EOLYS tank is please so I know for future reference?

Marc.

Can I have the following please for the 3008? Can't see it above.

Fuel Filter
Timing Belt Kit (Belt, Tensioners and Coolant Pump)
Auxiliary Belt Kit (Belt and each tensioner - I've not looked yet but assume there on two pulleys on the DV6C)
Fan resistor module (as have P0493 code - not yet checked the resistance but it's likely to be that).
Recommended brake fluid (as this is supposed to be changed every 2 years but I cannot see any record of it ever having been done!)

Finally, do Peugeot recommended any particular engine flushes and also diesel treatment to dissolve any potential lacquering in the injectors please?

Intend to use Total Activa Ineos ECS (as listed in the Stellantis doc) and Comma Xstream G48 as the replacement coolant either as concentrate or ready mix.

Vehicle will be good for another 10 years then in terms of major servicing.

Many thanks.

So sorry, Marc. Thought I had finished. Where do I request work sheets for changing cam belt and fan resistor module please? Is it here or just on a separate specific post? You'd think I'd know the answer to this having been on the forum for so long... SORRY!

I've stood and looked under the bonnet for the fan module for 5-10 minutes and couldn't find it. It's probably tucked behind what I think is the intercooler.

For the Fuel Filter, follow the same guide for the X7 with this engine Here

3008 DV6C Timing Belt Removal & Replacement

The Fan control is best accessed from below the vehicle on a hoist, by removing the under-engine protection to get to it - above 'a' below:

HI Richard, apologies! Yes i meant the front :)

The RP number is to plug into Service Box. It appears that I need it to pull up the details for my van?

Cheers!
