Re: Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
Good morning,
Blue 308 SW, VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Could you confirm:
Hub nut torque value? Normally 325 Nm but was mentioned about "self locking nuts" so wondering if significantly different.
Gearbox oil volume? Realised during driveshaft swap I'll be changing that, hence figure needed . Nice big tub of 75w80 ready to go. Guess it's not got a level plug so drain and add a measured amount?
Cabin filter part number and location too please
Thanks a lot!

Re: Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
Matt - some confusion...
This 308 with the VIN ending 941 above is not showing a Hub Nut, as the rear hub assembly is not built into the rear disc, unlike the other 308 - have you got the correct VIN? If correct vehicle, can you tell me what other hub nut you're referring to before I answer the other questions so we're talking about the same vehicle, thanks.

Sorry Marc, front driveshaft nut rather than rear wheel hub nut - mixing up my terminology! It's the one you dug out the part number for me recently =GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑03 Aug 2024, 11:25 Matt - some confusion...

Re: Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
No worries
(10) Driveshaft Self-Locking Nut, Torque: 28,5 da.Nm
As for Gearbox oil, you're supposed to replace the amount removed, but if unsure, drain and refill. Quantities here depending on operation:
Quantity of oil to fill after draining: 2,1 ± 0,1 litres.
Quantity of oil to fill after an overhaul: 2,2 ± 0,1 litres.
Oil quality: 75W80.
Cabin Filter:
(7) Cabin Filter, 3 Options:
OEM Original Carbon Filter (Particles & Gas), part: 9804163480, £50.96
Cheaper Carbon Filter (Particles & Gas), part: 1612920480, £21.07
Anti Allergenic (High Performance Carbon, part: 1616959280, £63.65
On a LHD this on on the right side, so can't see it being different for a RHD. I believe you need to remove driver side centre console trim (remove centre console side trim cap to reveal screw). You'll need to find the cover as below and remove this to extract and refit the 2 filters. There are 2 plastic clips (tabs) to release the cover.

Exchange Multifunction Video Camera, part: 1692666580, £456.48
Remember, in addition to the camera, on this vehicle you also have ARTIV (Distance Control Radar) installed into the front grille. Sme vehicles have camera only based system, others use both camera and ARTIV unit, so you have both.
