Hi guys

Im in search of a particular cable loom. I,ll be installing smeg iv2, which needs “ 98117598ZD “ for the menu and volume control. Im looking for the part number of the cable that connects these buttons with the headunit.

Thanks in advance.

That's not simple as there is no separate wiring for this switch block - it's all part of the main fascia harness and there are over 20 variations of the harness depending on the gearbox / equipment and audio system / telematics fitted. Item (1) represents the entire harness for which I have listed a possible 2:
Smeg Fascia Harness.JPG
The only part I can give you is for the entire fascia harness of which I think I have narrowed it down to 2:
9811211480 which is for "- SMEG ANALOGUE RADIO RECEIVER AND WITHOUT TELEMATIC UNIT SINCE RPO 14112 OR SMEG DIGITAL RADIO RECEIVER AND WITHOUT TELEMATIC UNIT SINCE RPO 14112".
or:
9811241180, which is "- SMEG DIGITAL RADIO RECEIVER AND INDEPENDENT TELEMATIC UNIT SINCE RPO 14112 OR SMEG ANALOGUE RADIO RECEIVER AND INDEPENDENT TELEMATIC UNIT EVOLUTION 2.0 SINCE RPO 14112 OR SMEG DIGITAL RADIO RECEIVER AND INDEPENDENT TELEMATIC UNIT EVOLUTION 2.0 SINCE RPO 14112 OR SMEG ANALOGUE RADIO RECEIVER AND INDEPENDENT TELEMATIC UNIT SINCE RPO 14112"

The mechanic lost my locking wheel nut key today, is there a specific part number for it Marc please, or are they all different?
Presumably buying a new set of bolts and drilling these out will be cheaper (by a long way)?

They are all different. The locking wheel bolts are supplied from Citroen in a set of 4 with of course the specific unlocking hub.

£51.38 inc. VAT for a new set, part 1612616480 if he's offering to pay for a replacement.

Alternatively and better value are the limpet type that I used when they broke one of mine off. These don't use pins that can break off when the bolts seize - instead they use a limpet type system that fits over the bolt, so nothing to break off. About £24 a set Colin:

I posted on my blog about them here:

@Husky: The only alternators listed are Valeo or Bosch and these have the following markings depending on the exact model fitted.

VALEO(ALTERNAT) TG 15 C 028
VALEO(ALTERNAT) A 14 VI 27
VALEO(ALTERNAT) A 13 VI 276
BOSCH 0 124 525 035
VALEO(ALTERNAT) SG 7 S 024
VALEO(ALTERNAT) TG 15 C 020
VALEO(ALTERNAT) A 11 VI 106
VALEO(ALTERNAT) TG 15 C 053
VALEO(ALTERNAT) A 13 VI 277
VALEO(ALTERNAT) SG 7 S 014

Some of the above have the rotors / stators / Rectifiers or Regulator as spares, but these are only for the models listed above. If you don't have one of the above, I suggest it has already been replaced in the past.

VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Can someone help me to correct kit and part numbers for clutch and flywheel (plus everything else) change?
The Swedish reserve part sellers dont know. And I dont think Citroen here will tell me the part numbers if I call them and do the work my self....
I THINK the LUK kit is this: 600024000

Thank you Marc.
Are you absolutely sure?
Because when I check these OEM numbers, all my reserve part companies say, its a no fit with above numbers.
It is a 6 gear EGS (electronically moved, manual, "semi auto") gearbox.

Yes, 100% from your VIN, That’s why we ask for it. Confirmed on your 1.6 HDi DV6C piloted C5.

I don’t pay any attention to non- OEM parts suppliers as they are more often incorrect with wrong numbers and out of date data.

I have checked again this morning. What part numbers are they suggesting - I suspect they are for a different engine variation - most likely you are entering data for the 5 speed manual version of this engine which has different parts.

THANK YOU Marc!!

This is the one, they gave me for EGS6, no engine mentioned):
LUK kit 600024000

With LUK, this included:
Slave cylinder mechanism: 510 0251 10
OEM: CITROËN, PEUGEOT (2041.85)
CITROËN, PEUGEOT (2041.98)
CITROËN, PEUGEOT (2041.A2)
CITROËN, PEUGEOT (2041.A3)

Clutch kit: 624 3527 09
OEM: CITROËN (2051.S1)

Flywheel: 415 0493 10
OEM: CITROËN, PEUGEOT (0532.T4)
CITROËN, PEUGEOT (0532.X5)

Screw kit: 411 0166 10
OEM: CITROËN, PEUGEOT (2037.08)

I have two parts shops, I always check in between, to find correct part numbers. This time, one of them doesnt have anything correct labled for my car and the other one has labled the above kit for "MC EGS6 semi automatic gearbox". I have so far never seen this parts shop fail.
