Citroen C5 X7 steering rack identification. Please
Back in 2017 I had to replace my steering rack - three times 1st, the rack was stiff - apparently the reconditioning company used a different seal assembly, that was replaced with one that I could not get 'tracked' one track road end was holding on by about 1" on thread whereas the other was fully on! Eventually I got a refund and told to keep the 2nd rack.
I plan on selling the 2nd reconditioned non trackable rack, so what do I have?
Numbers on the rack are 7832.501.318 / 9506.7
It may have just been reassembled wrong an may even be my original rack as it took me a month to get it swapped.

Is there is ONLY ONE reservoir for ALL Xantias? or are these varaiations ? If there are variations , what are the differences?

I have done the membership upgrade as requested previously.

Good evening, hope you are well.
Looking for part numbers and pricing for the full exhaust system from the DPF onwards. Including the hangers screws/bolts etc. It sounds like a bloody tractor right now.🫣

Many thanks.

Evening!

Could I please get part numbers for discs/pads front and rear, as well as part numbers for the parking brake shoes/springs/cables.

Service Box is giving me multiple part numbers for discs (differing payloads) and the handbrake cables due to different track widths. Knowing my luck id order the wrong ones

VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Thanks in advance!

Hallo!

After a steep hill climb earlier this year, not only did a already weakened heater pipe blow open on my C5 X7, a wheel fastener (??) came loose:
I don't know the name for this, but hope the pictures will show it. This part is on the front, left side. I have circled where it has jumped off, nothing seems broken, but is it possible to jam it together again? If not I would need the whole thing. The VIN number for my car is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Hi

These are your front Anti-Roll Bar Drop Links. No, they cannot be put back together, they need replacing. Be aware that a defective one of these will cause the vehicle to 'dip' inwards when cornering, so get it fixed as soon as possible.

That's the anti roll bar drop link - you will need to replace it. These are a bit of a pain as the top bolt is the bottom mount for the shock.
Screenshot 2024-06-17 125742.png
They are handed, but both the same price at £96.98. Looks like they come without nuts, top is £7.36 and the bottom £8.92 - which are both frankly ridiculous!!

Edit: Beaten by Marc, but the comment about the nuts stands!

No idea how they can justify a nut being 1/2 the price of the link!
