Researching the emissions problem on the Aircross. I've come across two different part numbers for the NOx sensor.

9816276480 and 9811207180, seem physically identical. Superceded part or have there been changes in the exhaust and the photos are wrong?

Hi Marc

Can you provide the part number for a Turbo Pressure Solenoid Valve for the Peugeot 407 2.7 HDi

Its the one that sits on the rear left hand side of the engine just behind the inlet manifold.

The numbers I found are 4M5Q9E882AA 70051800 SIEMENS

Well I cannot find ANY solenoid valves apart from the one in the last diagram. Usually these are shown on the EGR Circuit (first diagram below) for 4 cylinder engines, but on this V6 they are not shown. I've looked at all the other likely related places and cannot find anything apart from the last diagram.

For the above which is the only thing I can find with a solenoid valve in is part: 1622HW, £220.81

Before I start, your vehicle is being flagged up with an aftersales campaign. I would call the dealer and quote your VIN - they will be able to tell you what it is for, but I wouldn't leave it - and the work will be free of charge.

Ok, so to answer your question neither! This vehicle has 2 NOx sensors:

(5) NOx sensor Downstream of the particle filter, part: 9811207180, £378.72
(6) NOx Sensor Upstream of the Catalytic Converter, part: 9816276480, £394.79

There you go then - not sold separately from Peugeot, only as part of the kit - part and price as I've listed

So if you have the old valve, check the part number on it and see if you can buy that in the after market.

There are a few of these turbo valve units numbering 1618.XY that externally look the same but appears to only "fit" the 1.6, 2.0 etc turbo.

Assuming the electrics is just a dumb magnetic push / pull solenoid to open the air / vaccum at the right time, do you think this might just be a PSA "marketing ploy"

ps - Im trying to trace why my twin turbo is now sometimes not generating boost and suspect the vaccum line / valve.

Any tech queries, please create a separate post in the Peugeot Forum, nut the only way to really test the operation is with a vacuum measuring tool. The part number I supplied is for the kit, so there is no separate part for the solenoid. V6 engines have many different components, so have a good look at any markings or numbers on your existing solenoid to see if you can search on those.
