Appears it is not fitted - assuming we are talking about the 308CC?- it would be 3 or 4, but no part listed against the VIN.

That's included as 'K' in the kit (1), along with items A, B, C, D & E. K is not available separately.

Hi Marc

can you confirm the part number for a brake light switch for the 2007 407 2.7 hdi

I suspect its one of (or all of) 4534.67, 9650688480, 9665602380,4534.63

My cruise control has stopped working - was fine last week

ps - I did search the parts forum for brake light switch but it said zero :)

cheers

Ok so be aware there's a technical bulletin concerning this if you are getting malfunctioning of the stop lamps / and or lighting of the ABS / ESP warning lamp on braking.

It requires the installation of an intermediate electrical harness and replacement of the brake lamp switch.

The kit contains the harness as shown below:

Let me know if you require the repair instructions for this and I'll put it up in the Member's resources section for you.

Thanks Marc

if you could post the repair instructions up thanks

I have no warning lights / ABS is okay but the cruise control just stopped working. Brake lights work okay.

I recall replacing this on my petrol version a few years and so might have the cable somewhere as I did not use it :)
