Lower engine oil seal
Looking to see if I can get a part number for the lower engine oil seal please?
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
It’s leaking quite a bit which has caused the fan belt to slip and shred quite a bit.

I assume you're talking about the oil sump seal?

Re: Citroen and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
Hi Marc
can I get an exploded view of the rear turbo inlet pipe and fasteners / connectors on the 407 2.7 HDi
I suspect there is a leak between the rear turbo intake and the plastic inlet pipe (which is causing the low rear MAF readings)
eg the bits circled in pic
thanks Mark

Re: Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
Thanks Marc
I'm actually after the diagram that shows the inlet air side piping as per arrow (I think the part number is 9653096580) eg the inlet pipe pipe that runs from the rear MAF sensor to the rear turbo inlet
Im wondering if there is a seal that goes over the turbo lip - also if it is really only held by one bolt or if there is something else that is missing
My Diag readings of the rear MAF air circuit have gone from around 180 to 354 (not sure I did much except get under the car to look at it) which is still less that the front one on 490 mg/impulse at idle (and so its kicking up a P0401 error) .

Re: Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
Thanks Marc
On mine part 75 (a clamp) was missing (past owner fail) so a few week ago I put a heavy duty zip tie on it - it looked pretty snug and tight anyway but looked like something was missing
I suspect this was the cause of the improved increase in the rear MAF readings
I assume 75 is a larger diagameter clamp compared to 73 ?
regards

Re: Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests
Hello part number peeps,
I suspect that the fuel pump has packed up on my petrol C6 and see that there are two different types of pump I could buy. C6 FED as usual.
Also, how do you get to it if you have the lounge pack seats?
Thanks,
James

There's a special procedure for gaining access with the rear electric seats. The procedure can be found here James:

Thank you so much. Now to get my Lexia over to the dead C6 (a litle tricky as there is no electric!) to see if my hunch is right.GiveMeABreak wrote: 15 May 2023, 11:25
