Hi. I am sorry if already answered but I assume it is possible to also install NAC to the DS5 (MY 2013) equipped with RD45 (the basic radio and CD player with BT). I mean if I buy the main unit, screen, adapters, GPS antenna etc. Is this correct?

Yes it's correct. New Aircon control panel would be good as well as CD player if you need one.

Hi again. I changed my RD5 to NAC, it went ok, the seller programmed DS5 profile and VIN into the unit. The only thing is that although the parking assist is working and the visual warning lines and a triangle are appearing on the screen, there is no car icon. The car has no reverse camera. Maybe somebody has some insights what can I do if any, I have Diagbox but no Arduino.

NAC “expects” to have the camera as factory fitted ones always come with one.
Don’t know if it can be programmed to work without the camera? Maybe with Arduino (ask the seller)…
With Diagbox you can’t change any setting within NAC as it requires authorised, on-line access. To get that, you need to go in authorised PSA garage and pay for diagnostic labour (should they want to mess around with DIY fitted parts), or buy yourself a token on ServiceBox (valid 7 days per one VIN) and try to alter those settings…

Ok, thank you, understood, maybe I then install the camera instead. I do not think the seller can provide any help since he is in France and I am in Estonia.

@MacSlavko
Really thanks for all information.
But I am not a pro-engineer, so still confused about something.
My DS5 2013 was installed RD45( I think it`s RD45, orange light with small monitor)
My purpose is [CarPlay]

What you need is:
a) NAC Wave2: 9821908880 (analog); 9821908980 (DAB+),
b) capacitive 7" touchscreen: Continental EMF DGT7C 9813041280; or multi-touch (3 finger gesture) 9825031680,
c) cable adapters (AliExpress),
d) telecoding your VIN (by seller with Arduino tool or by dealrship and DiagBox) so it doesn't beep at you every second.

For Item a): what`s the difference between "9821908880"&"9821908980"? For Carplay, both of them are suitable or should be "9821908980"
For Item b): For Carplay, should be "multi-touch (3 finger gesture) 9825031680"?

If you can help answer me, that`s really great!
Thanks.

1: You will have CarPlay and AndroidAuto with both 9821908880 and 9821908980. Only difference is that the later one 9821908980 is equipped with DAB+ (that’d be my choice),
2: CarPlay will work on any DGT7C (capacitive) touchscreen you’ll be able to find. 3 finger gestures is just a welcomed convenience if you come across it, but not necessary for either NAC or CarPlay to work.

PS: when searching for NAC make sure the seller provides you with donor car VIN so you can update it via dedicated PC/Mac app or have Connected Services subscription…
Also, mind that you’ll need different Fmux panel (fascia) to accommodate bigger screen that replaces tour old (orange) one...

Thanks for your professional reply.

For this one, what you mean is, if I upgrade to a new screen, it would be bigger than the original frame?

Yes. New touchscreen that you'll need with NAC is 8" (about the size you've marked in red) and it takes up the space for small items underneath your current orange screen.
It's reference nuber is 98102714ZD and you can find it all explained on page 4 of this thread.

Another friendly advice; keep those air refresheners in side air vents (if this is your picture) as they tend to leak chemicals and that kills the touchscreen...

Thanks for your reminding.
The pic I posted is not mine.

So that means:
NAC Wave2:9821908980 (DAB+)
Continental EMF DGT7C 9813041280; or multi-touch (3 finger gesture) 9825031680
Contral Panel:98102714ZD
Cable adapters
Telecoding the donate VIN

Then perfect CarPlay, right?

[Telecoding the donor VIN]
Sorry I am not English native speaker. Maybe I made some misunderstanding about the [donated car VIN]
I found a 9821908980 (DAB+), from https://ovoko.pl/czesci-samochodowe/sak ... cd-dvd-gps
And the seller said he can not telecode it.
My question is :
this was from an Opel car. the [donate car], means this Opel car, right?
And for coding, the seller has to specific my DS5 VIN to this NAC wave2 ?
Is this kind of like, remove the donor VIN and write my DS5 VIN into NAC?
If you can help tell me the detail information, that would be so great of you.

Yes, that's right.
NAC from an Opel can natively work in a DS5, but needs telecoding via Arduino first (to ulpad not only your VIN, but also other car's calibration ie buttons et cet.)...

If you have RT6 sat-nav system you need to install speed cam file (updated monthly). The same goes for SMEG touchscreen head units.
If you have NAC touchscreen head unit, you’ll need Connected Services subscription in order to get speed cam alerts.
