Basically, yes. You are asked how many keys you want to pair with the car and simply insert them one after another into the ignition as directed by Diagbox. It won't feel any different pairing a new key compared to aneisting one.
Doo wrote: 21 Dec 2020, 02:02I'd actually like 3 keys so one each and a spare at home just in case I get flung off the bike again...
Yup, perfectly possible. I think the limit is 6 keys (or maybe 8).

EDIT Wheeler says 5 and he's almost certainly right.

The process is guided. Once you have all the info required (ALL keys to be programmed and confidential code) the system will talk you through the procedure.

I went to Timpsons, who wouldn't cut my blade, but I asked if they could cut their own blade? Which they did for £15. Very reasonable.

Now I have to ask Citroen for the security codes... But what exactly do I ask them for? I guess I'll rock up with V5 and some id, then what?

And I recall needing some numbers off the car for Lexi and Diag, but forgotten what and where :?

May I ask again for that info for future. Thank you :)

You need the transponder code, have you had a good root through the cars documents to double check you dont have it?
it would have been on a card like this with a scratch off panel.
Alternatively it may have been written down somewhere in the handbook.

If you are using Lexia rather than Diagbox it will ask you for the RP number, this is found on the tyre pressure label, the 1st 5 digits .

If you are interested you can also (using the RPO) find out when your car started to be built, and at which factory;

Then I refer you back to my previous post:

........ You will need your confidential customer code before you can programme the keys with Lexia - if you don't have this, then you can obtain them from Citroen on proof of ownership, ID and a utility bill or similar.

No worries, just make sure you take something like a driving licence, a bill or letter with your address on it and your V5 log book, which should cover all the bases. They charge from zero to about £25, so for this charge, ask them for the customer confidential code and the key code at the same time.

Goooooood news everyone (which adult cartoon is that from?? ).

I went to the Peugeot section of the dealership and saw an old friend is the telephone answerererer and the first face as you come in the door. She fetched a lad from parts and suggested he help me.

Five minutes later, free of charge, I get the 4 digit code 8-)

Some days you're the statue, but today I was the bird

Tomorrow I plan to have a go....

EDIT: Dammmit!!!!

I just read your reply that I quoted and see that I should have asked for the customer confidential code too

Muppetry at it's finest

So, tomorrow, I shall mostly go back and ask for the CCC #-o

It's the customer confidential code you need for programming if using Lexia / Diagbox. The other code is for blade key cutting. The confidential customer code is usually a sequence of 4 alphanumeric, so that's probably what you have.

Hi chaps, having a little difficulty with the Lexia.

I can't find how to programme the keys?

I've looked at all the options, but it's not obvious to me what I need to do....

Any chance someone could take me through the process please?

Start from, switch on the laptop :-)

Right now though, a box has popped up stating

WARNING Repair in progress. Do you wish to stop the current operation?

Ummm, "what repair?"

!!!!!

Is that a Windows Repair? If it is, I wonder if Windows crashed in the past and is now trying to sort that out.
