Sometimes that happens. Unplug the USB cable, plug it back in, and restart that tool (you don't normally need to restart the whole application).

Don't forget to back up your licence file (refer to instruction sheet) after the installation Paul.citroenxm wrote: ↑11 Dec 2020, 12:15Well ffs ... I'm pleased to say it was the netbook at fault.. using this toshiba and it's now working and installing the full files.
Sorry for the hassles yesterday..
Ill update this again once I know I'm up and running fully but I'm further ahead then I was yesterday..
Its xp.. and dedicated for diagnostic so I'm not too worried about antivirus..

The instructions do tell you to take a copy of the BIN folder.

Re: Failing to install Diagbox
Paul - that is asking for you to connect the cables from the VCI to the Diagnostic port on the car - and from here it looks like you're in the kitchen!
That screen is not Planet 2000, you are still in Diagbox. It usually only switches to the correct programme (Lexia / PP2000) for cars 2007 and earlier, when it detects the vehicle. If you are in the car and have some fancy car seat covers, then unplug the VCI, wait a bit then plug it back in. Is the green light on the VCI switched on?

Re: Failing to install Diagbox
Yea it's still not talking to the 2007 1.4 petrol 207 (hand held does) or 2008 1.6 hdi 207..
So I'm not convinced on the interface being new enough..
It doesnt auto detect the cars and when I force in ecus dont reply..

Re: Failing to install Diagbox
Just adding onto this, i was using the Lexia function on Diagbox the other day on a mk 2 Berlingo. Cant remember if i have ever used the Lexia function on this install or not but when it switched over to Lexia it was in all in French??
The diagbox side of things is still in English Dont remember a seperate choice of langauge when installing it. Anyone else had this issue, Im guessing you cant change it without a full re install?

Re: Failing to install Diagbox
I think for Lexia, youhave to go into the "C:\APP\LEXIA\EXE\" and change multiple settings in the langue.ini file and also the "C:\APPLIC\LCTLEX3\" Dico.txt files replacing the existing language code with the GB part as in: Dico=THELEXGB.DBZ.
I can't remember as it was years ago now - but mine has always adopted the language installed with DB. I think this normally happens when legacy standalone versions of Lexia have been left / not removed befoire a new DB install. It's one of the reasons why the registry needs to have all the orphan entries removed with the cleaner after uninstallation.

Re: Failing to install Diagbox
There are, in the instructions, a few lines to edit a specific file. This starts with step 17 (of the instructions I sent you).
