Well in a lull, everyone will have heard of the Nelson Riddle Orchestra yes Frank Sinatra/ Linda Ronstadt etc etc etc

Well in spite of being a big fan of the Batman TV show, and seeing the credits every episode, I hadn't realised Nelson Riddle provided much of the soundtrack to the show. But for the selection have to go for one which literally credits Nelson Riddle and His Orchestra. Its the French car forum so its Montmartre

Yes, Nelson Riddle provided the incidental music for the Batman TV show. But did you know that Neal Hefti wrote the theme tune? Here he is with his orchestra.,

Neal Hefti & his Orchestra and Chorus - Batman Theme

He also wrote The Odd Couple theme

Yes I noticed that Paul and couldn't be sure whether Riddle performed the theme for the show or not so I left it alone. Riddle definitely made a recording of it. Pleased its made it into the Calendar with the original writer and his Orchestra. I think the music did add to the show without realising it at the time! :-D
