How many people round the world know the tune and the song though, I'm happy to acknowledge popularity.

..and another one in that category even if you detest it, everyone knows it. The disco pants are an added nostalgic bonus. :-D

Nirvana. Yes that's right. And it's not a yellow card offence as it's the British band from the 60s.

I couldn't find a personal appearance video of their best performing single Rainbow Chaser but I did find one for Pentecost Hotel. I'll post both though.

Before Emerson Lake and Palmer, the late Keith Emerson was in The Nice. Here they are with their version of America. Don't think he could get away with the knives nowadays though.

Another short lived band that contained the seeds of several others. After lead singer Ed Banger (Ed Garrity) left the Nosebleeds* there were just three members left. Morrissey (the Smiths), Billy Duffy (the Cult), and Vini Reilly (the Durutti Column) released just one single - Ain't Bin To No Music School. There appear to be no videos of it being performed live.

* Prior to that they were Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds!

New Christie Minstrels - Three Wheels on my Wagon

I used to love this when I was younger. I couldn't find the version with the puppets that the BBC used to show but this is acceptable.

Nerf Herder with the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Theme. Apparently Alyson Hannigan (Willow) introduced series creator Joss Whedon to their music and that's how they got the gig for the theme tune.
