Re: The FCF Musical Advent Calendar 2020
Well I wonder if Mike Oldfield is going to make an appearance, he already has on the bass on Kevin Ayers little ditty on the K's. First album I ever bought Tubular Bells, but he did play most if not all of it himself. So I'll leave that for others to risk the yellow card.
So I'll just slap Marmalade up seeing as its breakfast time, and probably much to the chagrin of the assembled throng this is 1970's vintage
but a decent "rocker".
Regards Neil

Title is very apt. More shouting and screaming.

That's exactly the way I see it.mickthemaverick wrote: ↑12 Dec 2020, 02:08I am happy with Chapter 3 and Earth Band being different groups so no repetition has occurred. However the informal chapters 1 and 2 I am treating as the same band...
There is still a touring band called The Manfreds which doesn't feature Manfred Mann. It always has Paul Jones as lead singer but sometimes Mike D'Abo joins the tour as co-lead singer to sing the songs that he originally fronted. Interestingly, when Mike D'Abo is not there the band do not do any of the chapter 2 songs.
Anyway, here's another spin-off from Manfred Mann. McGuinness Flint - Malt & Barley Blues

Here's a perfect piece of pop music. Robin Scott's vanity project M with Pop Muzik.

The Merseybeats later split up and Tony Crane and Billy Kingsley formed The Merseys. Just one hit record - Sorrow (itself a cover version and later covered by David Bowie),
