Think i am pushing the limits or opening up a big big can of worms but................................................ :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

Quite right Colin, You have opened one hell of a can of worms there :rofl2: :rofl2: So in order to seal the lid on that conceptually loony plan I am not going to count it and issue the expected yellow card!!! :-D

Time to put on your mustard coloured shirt - ideally open most of the way down your chest (with obligatory oversized collars) and matching brown jacket, open up a bottle of Blue Nun, and pick up the phone to book a table at the Berni Inn.....

Very tempted to put up Cortina Mk II, but instead....

The Lambrettas - Poison Ivy
Had a listen to the Cortina Mk II which would have been equally good, but it did lead me on to refreshing my memory about Hamilton Bohannon's "Disco Stomp" sounding similar, and all hailing back to Bo Diddley beat.

Run out of "L"'s apart from Limmie and the Family Cookin'

Lump
Curse Of The Contemporary

I have a look at Laura Marling occasionally and forget that I wasn't impressed.
I confuse her with Brit Marling - a world of difference.

We have had by far the most successful day so far with 66 new groups posted on the calendar making the "L"s the most numerous to date. Interesting from my view because I thought "L" was a mid difficulty letter whereas tomorrow's "M", I think, is much more prolific and so I am hoping for a new record tomorrow!!
Having said all that, here is the calendar, the regular posting of which I find makes it easier to check back through the posts as I frequently have to do!! :-D

So to ignite the "M"s I don't feel guilty about picking a mainstream favourite because there really are plenty to choose from, so my first choice of group is Manfred Mann but I couldn't narrow it down to one track so I am offering three!! :)
