I'm beginning to lose track but I don't think we've had the B-52s yet.

I wanted to put something up by Blackmore's Raincoat, err Rainbow but I'll have to wait until R as Blackmore didn't seem to put his name at the front as I thought he had.

What a terrific first day for our calendar! 9 different groups posted in the "A"s and then everyone has really made the effort to take us up to 39 different groups in the "B"s to this point. So to tidy that number up to a nice round 40 here is an appropriate advent calendar track with a 40th group and a very peaceful video to end the first day. It is a Christmas track but is instrumental so hopefully it will go down well! Over to Boney M:

To prepare the way for Day 2 here is the calendar to start it off:
Own creation
Own creation
And a nice gentle "C" to start the ball rolling:

Before I dive into the Cs a couple of As and Bs came to me. Too late of course but I can at least give them a name check:

Altered Images
Ian Dury and the Blockheads

How could I miss either of those?

Later Edit

Lordy, how could I forget these?

Adam and the Ants
Black Sabbath
The Allman Brothers Band
Barclay James Harvest
Amen Corner
The Byrds
Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band

Let's start off with a monster of a band, The Clash. I eventually settled on:
