On the other subject Husky, In my many years of running PSA vehicles I've felt they can be quite sensitive to prevailing atmospheric conditions. My experience is that they go like they're supercharged on cold, crisp days and on damp, dreary days like today they seem sluggish and not at all enthusiastic...

Not only does it affect engines but runners and cyclists experience the same effect too... High and low atmospheric pressure maybe?
Very good point and that was my thinking as there is a pattern.

I will say the Picasso is really due a cam belt kit change . But that can wait for spring the zx is doing great at the moment so she can be the daily and very willing to do so , Made me laugh earlier when out I'm being flashed to turn my headlamps down and there not on main beam there aim is correct and there normal h7 bulbs the reflectors in the lights are like new, Sorry to the laser light Audi drivers.

:rofl2: the old girl shines bright with normal bulbs !

Thanks, it's a lovely car but the laquer is getting a bit delicate in places. Thankfully it still looks very presentable when cleaned up. I had it properly detailed earlier in the year to try and protect the finish for a while longer. Drives like a new car still and I feel guilty adding miles to it but I firmly believe cars are meant to be used. It's keeping company with a bx and a c15 van, oh and a Jag V8 bit we won't mention that 🤣
