Anyone have access to rneg firmware update? peugeot 3008 2012 executive

Looking for any helpful information on this topic. My local dealer is worse than useless on the subject. And the price of updates is prohibitive.

Firmware updates are quite cheap (£9.98) for the CD in your case inc. VAT. for the MyWay Firmware, part 9679240380. It's always best to upgrade from a genuine CD, but I do have the files if you want to use the USB method.

Hi, Thanks for responding so quickly, and please do excuse my ignorance in this. I have a warning light come up in my 3008 that on taking it to the Peugeot dealer has them saying "we don't know what the problem is but you do need at least two software upgrades at almost £300 the pair, On asking what the upgrades will do and if they will solve the problem the answer is waffle as to what they are going to achieve and "lets do them and see". This is unacceptable to me. I cannot reconcile paying for something without any explanation or expectation of a positive result. That is why I am here on this forum, to see if anyone knows what the software updates do and if there is any way to install them without paying through the nose.

Ok, so we need to be clear here.

Are they talking about Firmware software updates for the Head Unit alone? If they are then these can take about 40+ minutes each to do, so they are probably factoring in a couple of hours diagnostic time to sit there and have a coffee while the updates install - there's nothing physically for them to do! So that's likely where the £300 is from. They are also likely installing one update at a time. Although this is recommended, you can just install the latest update directly.

I'll send you a Private Message with the latest update and if this is the best they can suggest, then you can do it yourself for free.

It is essential that you are prepared, keep the engine running (critical) and don't operate the head unit or any other vehicle controls during the update.

Hi. I’ve just got a 2010 reg 407 with the RNEG system. Is version R20 something. Is there a newer version?
Also what would be the newest maps I could have and where would I get these from
