I am happy to give anything a go if we can make it easy to join in with. The idea for the first day thread was that it would expire after the clock strikes midnight, and the original photos would have to be taken on that day.

Maybe the 12 days theme might need a little more time, but a variation on that theme could be the 12 days of French Car numberplates. ie pictures of french car reg 01, 02, 03 etc up to 11, 12.

Should be plenty around if members take their photographic devices on their exercise/shopping for essentials/work etc trips on December 1st.......

Could even tart up my "card" themed answer grid with the said 12 days traditional logos.

Might I suggest a one day thread of audio tracks, which cannot come from the PE Jukebox thread, but starting with A and working through to Z by the end of play. The letter being the Prime initial, ie T for 'the' or similar does not count, of the name of the group, so The Who would be W etc. Solo Artists do not count only groups? :) I would suggest multiple entries for each letter are ok as long as they are in order so once a "D" has been posted no more earlier letters allowed. :-D

I think that task would be an easy enough armchair one Mick, but for getting out and about I did have in mind a more photographic based task. A new thread on what we could call an advent jukebox calender could take up your idea
24 days to fill in and 26 letters in the alphabet. Just have A.B.C. on day one and move on a letter a day until Z comes up on Dec 24th.

Well on a quick walk out today without trying too hard, its a task that is easy enough, just act suspicious, and take a few pics on a walk, or just one of your own vehicle.

Mick has got the FCF Musical Advent Calender going here so for todays First Day of the Month Quest out and about with our photographic devices see if you can contribute to this.....all original photos please taken on this first day of December before the clock strikes midnight.

Taking part could be no harder than taking a picture of your own French Car.

Thanks Mick and good effort will go and see if any more have arrived around here, before deciding whether to do a bit of deliberate car park cruising to bag whats left.

Of course if you have a French car and a camera, and its 02/03/05/09/ or 10 reg then please just make it easy, just photograph your own car.

Finding an 01 reg is going to be pretty impossible, so we may have to be creative :-D

Thanks to joiners-in and viewers. I think the general age of the national fleet if the evidence of this little exercise is anything to go by is made up of much newer cars. Our target of the 02-12 registrations ( yes the 01 had to be manufactured as it doesnt exist!) were a bit thin on the ground.
