There is often some oil in the tube from the intercooler to the turbo, it comes as vapour from the engine breathing system over quite a long time and settles at the bottom, just clean it out and forget it.
Alternatively it can come from failing turbo seals but in that case you would normally have blue smoke from the exhaust.

Re: Vacuum solenoid, C5 car diesel. Correct hose locations
Thanks Gibbo.
That makes sense, but the sudden escape of this oil on the top of the intercooler was after I corrected the vacuum pipes connection the solenoid valve which controls the big valve in the airdoser , so I thought it might have highlighted another problem in this system.
I followed all the advises on here, but still my engine is not running smoothly other then around 1500 to 1800 rpm

Is the Air Doser the double butterfly type, it looks like it is from the diagrams.
I know expense is a relative term, but i would check that as a priority, are both butterfly valves free to move and revert to normal at rest positions .

Yes, its a single port airdoser, and the valve moves to open which is it's rest position and closed at idle. So that is operating

Colin,
Between my engine and Belaprop's they changed the airdoser port from double to single , I think the RP was 12382.
I'll go and check for the correct number
Kenny
after 12382
before 12382
