At the moment the version of my interface is 4.3.3 and I am using diagbox 7.57. The diagbox is unable to detect the VIN. Please help me sort this out.

I will connect my pc and try to update the VIN code fist and see if it works. Will update after that because I think need more configuration as well because the Hybrid information is not showing on the display. Thanks

Yes - if you have Firmware 2.80 - I strongly suggest you leave it at that! Get all the options working. I would not update it to 2.86 as it is a well known fact that it will reset the Head Unit again and you will be back to square one. It will go into secure mode and will require the dealer (an expensive diagnostic session) or Mirascripts to rectify - as it can't be configured with Diagbox.

Actually, had time to scan through and these are the areas I think you need to change:

Preferred SID (Automatic TMC Station): Set to UK
Auxilliary Audio Input: Present
Auxilliary Video Input: Missing / Absent
Video Input from Reverse Camera: Missing / Absent
Parking Aid: Rear Only

Thanks Marc. Is there any setting for the Hybrid information? In my old unit it shows the Hybrid info when press mode button. It shows the battery charging or not and if car is running on zero emmition. Thanks

I can't help you with that I'm afraid - there are no obvious options from the areas you posted - but I suspect this data will come from the BSI or one of the specific ECUs that handles the Hybrid element. This would be typical data that is normally updated from PSA's servers, so you may need to bite the bullet on this one and ask them to download the configuration file from your VIN - this should then correct the missing data.

Slightly off topic - why should the MW have to be deactivated if the vehicle is all electric or hybrid? Could it be because the electric motor and associated electronics pump our so much electronic interference that it would be unusable I wonder?

I didn’t mention the AM waveband option also had to be deactivated too - as I thought that was self explanatory in the notes on the right, but Paul reminded me to make sure you set that to deactivated.

Yes Paul - the electromagnetic noise from the electric motor can interfere with the reception, but nothing more clandestine than that. It just creates a lot of static feedback rendering it pretty much useless.
