No worries - thought it would be useful for Roger and others as many are not aware of this feature of Lexia or Diagbox.

Thanks Marc and others. Much appreciated. I'll have to think what to do - the car ran well when I fetched it this afternoon. I'm going to carefully compare the two diagnostiques but it does look now that I'll have to grin and bear it. In case I go down the diagbox route to put my mind at rest, can you please advise how I should go about it (doubt that I'll find anyone near here with one)? I am running Win 10 64bit, which, from my brief research seems to be a prob. Please bear in mind that at 74 I'm past learning so it does need to be pretty straightforward.

Ooo, well you're never to old to learn - but I'd be telling porkies of I said it was an effortless installation Roger - you do have to run through a few hoops to get it installed. Windows 10 64 bit may work with later version of Diagbox, but will not run the encapsulated Lexia / Peugeot Planet 2000 software as it won't support older 16 Bit coded software.

As I have just come offline helping a fellow member, I went into the fault journal to see how often his numerous errors had been occurring - and they were all logged every day - i.e. "Fault ABCD 1234 765 days" which tells me that particular fault was recurring daily for over 2 years.

So any issue relating to faults should be tidily logged into the journal area.

If you want to get a kit though for future fault finding do get a decent one revision 'C' unit with full hardware. There are cheaper ones on the net that may be cut-down versions - and may have issues talking to full CAN vehicles like the C4 Picasso.

The link to the UK supplier a lot of members here use:
