I only have the descriptions for these fault codes as they apply to a DW engine with the Delphi Engine Management System, but the fault will be very similar to your engine that has the Bosch Injection ECU. It may help give you some ideas, but as you can see for both of these faults, the suspect areas are wide ranging!

Fault code: P02ED 00
Fault Description: Induction circuit: Air flow higher than the theoretical air flow, after sales threshold. The air flow measured is greater than the theoretical flow by 8 % for 13s
Conditions of activation of the diagnostics: The following conditions have to be met:
  • Engine running
  • Engine speed between 1150 and 4500 rpm
  • Coolant temperature above 40°C
  • Engine torque zero
  • Turbo pressure greater than 800 mbar
  • EGR recirculation valve flap in the maximum position at 5%
Conditions of disappearance of the fault: The following conditions have to be met:
  • After switching the ignition off and then back on
  • Driving for 5 minutes with decelerations of more than 10s
Down-grade modes if fault present:
  • Activation of the cruise control / speed limiter function impossible
  • Deactivation or switching off of the cruise control/speed limiter function
Symptoms noticed by Driver: Lack of power; Absence of automatic stopping of the internal combustion engine; Engine hesitating, cutting out; Starting problem; Malfunctioning of the engine when idling; Banging/knocking/creaking; Growling/whirring/booming; Whistling and whining/hissing/rushing of air; Crackling / Sputtering / Knocking; Fluid leak/smells (diesel fuel, oil, etc.); Activation of the cruise control / speed limiter function impossible; Deactivation or switching off of the cruise control/speed limiter function.

Suspect Areas: Air cleaner, Air line, Air flow sensor, Air inlet manifold, Turbocharger, Turbocharger position copy sensor, Turbocharged air cooler, Air mixer unit, Inlet air pressure and temperature sensor, Exhaust gas recirculation circuit, Air/air exchanger, Exhaust gas recirculation valve, Exhaust manifold, Exhaust line, Oil vapours recycling pipe, Particle filter, Electrical harnesses, Connectors.

Fault P00BC 00:
Fault Description: Induction circuit: Air flow lower than the theoretical air flow, legislative threshold. The measured air flow is less than the theoretical flow by 10% for 25s

Conditions of activation of the diagnostics: The following conditions have to be met:
  • Engine running
  • Engine speed between 1150 and 4500 rpm
  • Coolant temperature above 40°C
  • Engine torque zero
  • Turbo pressure greater than 800 mbar
  • EGR recirculation valve flap in the maximum position at 5%
Conditions of disappearance of the fault: The following conditions have to be met:
  • After switching the ignition off and then back on
  • Driving with the engine hot for 5 minutes, with decelerations longer than 10 seconds
Down-grade modes if fault present:
  • Inhibiting of starting of the forced particle emission filter regeneration (using diagnostic tool)
  • Use of a default value for the flow of exhaust gas
Engine Warning Lamp and/or warning message: Engine diagnosis warning lamp.

Symptoms noticed by Driver: Lack of power; Absence of automatic stopping of the internal combustion engine; Engine hesitating cutting out; Activation of the cruise control / speed limiter function impossible; Starting problem; Malfunctioning of the engine when idling; Deactivation or switching off of the cruise control/speed limiter function; Growling/whirring/booming; Banging/knocking/creaking; Crackling / Sputtering / Knocking; Whistling and whining/hissing/rushing of air; Fluid leak/smells (diesel fuel, oil, etc.).

Suspect Areas: Inlet air entry pressure and temperature sensor, Air cleaner, Air line, Turbocharged air cooler, Turbocharger, Turbocharger position copy sensor, Oil vapours recycling pipe, Exhaust gas recirculation valve, EGR valve circuit, Air inlet manifold, Air flow sensor, Connectors, Electrical harnesses, Air mixer, Exhaust manifold, Exhaust line, Particle filter.

I am an automobile mechanic, and therefore do the repairs myself.

I changed the EGR valve but unfortunately the problem persists. I have an air flow problem when I look at the measurement values on Diagbox.

Hi guys
Just bought a 208 bluehdi 1.6 from 2015. It gives engine failure, and only states i should get it repaired. My delphi tester (2016 release) did not want to communicate with the bsi properly, but I got it to show som values.. 101 kpa at ambient and 101 at the MAP sensor. When I rev'ed upwards, the MAP value decreased.
Except for the fault and not able to use cruise control the car runs fine...
Where is my MAP sensor located.. And does anyone have a suggestion?
I try my now updated Delphi and my updated Lexia tomorrow
