So number (2) is the downstream sensor. Now the original part was 1618AN, but they are now proposing to replace it with 1618Z8, with the following:
Secure the surplus length of the electrical harness using a tie wrap;~Always stay away from the exhaust line
So there was a Technical Service Bulletin on this, probably relating to the electrical wires melting on the exhaust. So if yours has started to melt, it could be the reason why the fault has been flagged up.
And pennies they are not Colin... 1618Z8 will cost £231.62 inc. VAT from the dealer, so time to get Googling again!

Well quick update on these issues.
Have done a Lexia session and fault P0136 has not shown up again so hoping it was a remnant from the fusebox issue that has now been fixed.
However i do have a fault code that i missed earlier, just checked back through the records and i have P0011 but this has been there before in amongst all the other fusebox related faults but was not present when P0136 was posted last weekend.
P0011 variable timing electrovalve
charactersiation of the fault. : locked at the upper stop
Status. : intermittent .
from. : distant .
Variables associated with the fault

Car drives well hoping it is something that will go away like P0136 lol

I have been very remiss in regards to this thread, having figured out the problem i have not fully explained what actually happened not for selfish reasons just i needed advice on a solution and recent posts have prompted me to fully explain, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
The car actually stopped whilst driving, just cut out along with various warnings, speed control, depollution fault, air bags fault, A/C was on and panel went blank, blower stopped but would turn over and only fire up for a short time as and when it decided to, then stopped.
Fault was traced to BSM and fuse/wire bypass had melted big time.
Bodge job to get it home and all seemed ok, however taking it for MOT/Service brake lights were on constant, not every time but 80% when i touched the brakes the wipers would go full chat and sometimes the full range of faults would show and the engine cut out.
It would turn over but not start with foot on brake ( manual ) foot off restart and drive ok until brake pedal pressed, wipers go mad sometimes, blower cut off, foot off brake all seems ok.
problem solved with new BSM
