The first time he did the refill on the gas he said I need to run it for a few days before the ac comes on I took it back 3 days later when things did not work that's when he told me the comresser had gone.

Once gassed - it should start working immediately! That's BS. If that was the case, companies like ATS and Kwik Fit would be out of business as they offered a 10% colder A/C system than when you took it or your money back! They take a temperature reading before and immediately after regassing the system. If you had to wait 3 days everyone would be getting a refund.
