Pointless talking to him, he's either stark raving bonkers or on the ultimate wind up.
And Marc, I can't believe that someone who appears so sensible would indulge in this "They didn't go." nonsense.

Being intolerant of other peoples views if they are different from yours is neither logical or clever.
Rumours and innuendo starts these conspiracy theories off
For example some people think Prince Philip is an immortal space lizard, this is stupid and in a way amusing. Then some lunatic comes up with the idea that this space creature had princess Diana killed in a car crash.
I'm far from being an evil genius but even I could come up with something better than a car crash to kill someone off. We all know of car crashes where people have lived where logically they should have died. I know people who still think Philip arranged it, tho being immortal he could easily have just waited until she died of natural causes. unless of course sh was also immortal and had to be bumped off, oh wait.....

Re: Manned Moon Landings - Did They Go? - Of Course They Did/n't
It's because I do question things and don't blindly accept what's put in front of me - I've not seen anything that has proven to me that we went (manned), but on the contrary, there are too many anomalies, duff footage, lost telemetry tapes, perfectly framed and focused photos on a chest mounted hasselblad camera with no viewfinder, X Rays in the Van Allen belts (2 hours exposure) - so much for the camera film, astronoauts that don't even know if they went through them or not, no craters, no dust on the lander, yet massively powerful rockets, duplicate re-used scenery on several missions, camera crosshairs behind the images, flapping storage containers on the lander.... the list goes on and on and none of these have been explained to my satisfaction, so I choose to believe it was all a con until conclusively shown otherwise.Gibbo2286 wrote: 20 Jul 2019, 12:01 Pointless talking to him, he's either stark raving bonkers or on the ultimate wind up.

1 in 6 in a YouGov poll think they are faked, and in 1976 Gallup poll, nearly 28% of Americans thought the moon landing was faked, so not alone here.

The camera had a wire frame viewfinder.
I took a lot of interest as I had a Hasselblad at the time.
Not as easy to frame as accurately as the waist level finder admittedly.

Trying to convince people of something they don't want to believe is futile. 1 in 6 or 12.5 % of people believing they were faked means 87% of people think thy weren't. Are they all lab rats being fed crap to see how they react? 28% of Americans thought the moon landings were faked and over 40% of Americans think people of colour are lesser beings than white people. According to Infection Control US 45% of Americans have "doubts" about the efficacy of vaccines sample of 2000 people.

Here's an interesting analysis showing how some of the pictures have been touched up and replaced by NASA as well as some of the fakery:

As the subject is widening somewhat, I have moved the last main post and MikeT's response to the new Topic on 'Conspiracy Theories in General as suggested:

It must've gone dowhill fast as I'd composed most of my reply but had to pop out for a bit only to find it's disappeared.

Ah, yes, it's been deleted by a colleague as it was getting a bit personal it seems - I've been away for an hour or two.

Hmm, ok I can understand that but it's still continuing here it seems?

But of course you accidentally on purpose missed what came immediately before that :

One of the first times I've responded to all this groups personal insults, and you even misrepresent that. Dish it but can't take a bit back... What's that a sign of...
It has got to this point because of your collective denial no matter what solid evidence is produced, you all ignore, ridicule or distract, but you won't look at or acknowledge the facts and evidence. You then insult, i go down to your level for once and you run for mummy's apron. Pathetic.

I simply asked AJM C5 if he'd actually been to the sites of these atrocities, that got wiped too.
