Above the Air Con compressor there are 2 vacuum solenoid valves. each one operates a doser valve. As you now have only one the other vacuum pipe should be blocked off, otherwise vacuum will be lost when it in operation. I would temporarily block the pipe thats fitted to your single doser to stop it operating. It sounds as if it is closing when it tries to do a regen of the DPF, thus suffocating the engine. Long term, find a double doser and fit that.

* New experience said that only rod, inside the capsule can be rotated. So there is no need to rotate entire capsule (this can create problems with vac tube distance and position)... only rod, connected to the rubber membrane, probably above some internal spring, can be rotated for 180 degrees).

Sorry, I didn't and still don't recognise the picture. Yours with age of your car will be different to mine, the principle remains the same. The double doser allows the intake system to bypass the intercooler.

This is the capsule that with vacuum moves flap inside doseur. There's no springs inside...rubber on this capsule, holds flap open, and vacuum close it when Ecu wants... no need for double doseur, because single one done good job last 3 years since I own the car. Someone mentioned motor - that's above flap, black box should be position sensor. By my conclusion, flap movement is done only by this capsule. Wery simple method... Only maybe I will change rod with some DIY peace of plastic...

Another problem is, that I today, during check , moved one vac tube on the vac pump, and cracked connector... in lack of other tubes, reconnected it with peace of heat shrink tube, and duck electrical tape... all working, but I need to find some good peace of tube. Does someone knows for what is used first vac tube, toward You, when looking to engine, at asume vacuum pump, on right side of engine?

double doseur
double doseur
I check both themes and saw Your double doseur. Assumed that works like this... but I can not see on photos position controller? Do You have 2 of them, or is just sensor free doseur? Seems that exists 3 types... single with sensor, and double with, and without position sensors .. and after 2010-2011 actually started to use cooler bypass .. on engines before it was more like transfer probe period... at begining it was mounted, but actually turn off, and used only as back up option in case of first one failure... no dpf reg help function programmed in ecu

I have double dosers, operated by a vacuum without position sensors. They are used to bypass the intercooler. The 1.6hdi is motor driven I believe.

As I could discover in this few days of research, as I told...there are 3 types... and probably, as diesel engines do not need air inlet control, but adjust fuel accordingly, it is still simple thing in developing fase... engineers are still doing research in that direction. So this part is still simple...

Capsule from my car
Capsule from my car
I remove it for photo... and set it back... here it is... You can see how top of the rod is damaged on one side. So now it is turned arround for 180° and works fine... I will keep You informed of progress..

Last two days I was following on phone app, how ecu uses this manifold. City ride... When car is started ecu puts it in some near to completely open position...then, on every engine slowing down, or engine "braking" part of the trip (traffic light, car in front...), when You remove foot from gas pedal, and/or press brake, vacuum closes it to some 25-35%... when you stop and idle, puts it in cca 30%, and then returns it to near open state cca 75%, and remain there... when you shut down engine, ecu through vacuum close flap completely for some cca 10 sec (probably to prevent remaining air pressure to enter shutting down cylinders, to avoid bad situation for engine, and engine shaking), then opens it completely, for say it 30 sec, then again closes it completely for some 10 sec (don`t know why?), then again opens it completely, and leave it there in an open position... (description maybe some day become useful to somebody)...

Note - This phone app, on my phone, and on my car, describes throttle closed as cca 11,8% - open cca 86% ... I do not know is that correct, should be like that, or can it go further... Probably on some high-road ride, that we will see in a few days, will open it maximally, but that is also around or slightly above mentioned 86%, as I seen it before... I do not know, because it is "global" app, can it shows 0%, and 100%...and what are valid numbers for throttle position, and how sensor data are transmitted.

I was going to suggest that maybe somebody has fitted one from another model - it talkes a while for the engine ECU to adapt / adjust to the new readings - but it has highlighted the errors as you can see.

The Doser for your car is shown here as item 7.

Part number is 9677515880 Cost in the UK from Citroen is £352.46  So I would try and source one using this part number. The old part number was 0345F4, before it was replaced with the one above - but you have both in case it helps you source one.
HI, in my case the plastic pipe is factory sealed. should i drill a hole here?

You shouldn’t drill any holes in the pipe or you’ll have problems. What hole are you talking about? (72)? That’s just the plastic securing point to bolt the assembly to the mounting.

The upper outlet on this fork is closed at the factory at the level of the red line I drew. air can only pass to the lower outlet towards the IR. the upper connection looks like it is simply grafted onto the pipe so this hose has absolutely no function other than to collect oil there. I thought of drilling a hole and allowing the warm air to travel to the air mixer

Hello, I have a similar problem, the car is Citroen C5 2011, 163hp, have two faults P0488 and P1498, when the check engine appears, my car lasts some power at this moment and later everything working fine. What I need to check for these faults, do I need to replace the Double air mixer or I can fix it?
