Is it good ? :)
Maybe the ecu does not "see" new fuel and not taking action ?

If that was the case your fuel gauge would be wrong as it also calculates estimated fuel remaining from the Engine ECU and only takes a tank measurement on occasions to compare the 2 readings. So if your fuel tank measurement was working and adjusting, then it means the Engine ECU (that also controls the additive injection) is detecting fuel correctly.

As I suggested, leave it for another 500 KMs or so then go back and check to see if the system is regenerating on using Diagbox.

If it's any help, my reported additive quantity hasn't changed in over 20,000miles since I bought the car (05 C5 1.6HDI) a few years ago. It always reads 3000ml.
As regens regularly occur every 300miles or so without incident, I'm happy to have the everlasting Eolys in the tank :D

My avarage is 460km but i dont do many city driving.
The price of new bag is quite high and the main dealer wanted to change the whole plastic box.
Total expense is little more than 600€.
Over internet there are a lot of other 4007,c crossers and outlanders suffering from leaking bags.
There are no non-genuine bags that you can order- even empty ones.Or you buy new one from peugeot and hope that lasts and dont leak or you try to improvise.
Considering that i cover no more than 15000km per year on that car i decided to get my hands dirty ( wearing gloves all time because of the cerine).
Removed the box and drilled the rusty screws to find this:

What a mess!

I’m glad I have the rigid tank instead of the pouch system!

In fact this solution of managing the eolys has more disadvantages than advantages.
Asked the dealer is there way to use smaller bag from other model /207/ but the official answrer is no.
The shape of the bag is following the shape of the box and you cant put other inside.
I took special silicone and applied over the weak spot and around it.Left it dry for 2 days.
Because of the way it is designed - the pump sucks out the liqud not from the bottom but from the side -so there must be no air inside the bag.
From my partner i found suitable connector to fit the one of the bag and using house and suction pump for priming diesel (5€ from local store) easaly managed to take out the air from the bag.
Leave it like this for several days to see if any leaks will happen and after installed it back on car.
I wanted to insert via diagbox 1l. of fluid but it turned out that it is not possible - system reset only full bag.

You just need to be aware that the additive may have some reaction with the silicon seal you have made on the bag - any breakdown leading to contamination in the circuit may have undesirable consequences.

Yes - it can happen :)
Because of that I didnt buy additive to fill it up and to have at least 2l. of it.
Having it pouring on the ground on the driveway is nasty !
Something like test-period - if didnt hold at least will lose only small volume of it.
To get new one ... who knows how many years the full bag spent in warehouse - it may leak soon after installing it :(
What brand is recomended to mix with eolys 176?

You can only mix Infineum F7995 with Eolys 176 (or their direct equivalents - i.e. Walker equivalents (but you cannot mix Powerflex or Eolys DPX176).

So it is infineum that you need. Part number: 1638018680. This is a 3.3Lt pouch.

There are some European sellers that have these for approx 197.00 Euros - a lot less than the 600 your dealer wanted to charge.

https://frauto.pl/plyn-dodatek-do-fap-e ... 40897.html

It's because these bags are so fragile that they are not meant to be refilled - they can tear or rip when they are removed.

The pouch alone is ~280€ - the rest expences are for the plastic box, pump, optional metal guard and labour :)
Just cheked again with diagbox and....

3254ml.!
I put 10 more litres - listen and didnt hear any noise/vibration immediately after start engine - probably the liquid is delivered at later moment.

Yes, it only injects additive once the car is travelling over 20 KMs per hour
